At the .outbreak of World War II, when John went overseas to defend the country, she returned to Fairview to live with her parents. She joined the war effort by working in a Parachute Factory in Manti. At the end of the war, she attended and graduated from Excelsas Beauty College in Salt Lake City. She and John then GEORGE-Memor- ial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 27, in the Spring City LDS Ward for Gail Palmer, 52, who died Dec. 20. 1999. Mt. she where worked as a beautician and John as a rancher. In 1960 John and Virginia moved to Blan-dinJohn worked for the city and Virginia operated her own beauty salon while raising their four sons. She is survived by her four John; husband, sons, John R.
