Show Page Four - The Pyramid - May 5, 1999 Local bank teaches value of money On Tuesday, FAIRVIEW April 20, employees from Far West Bank in Fairview participated in a national campaign aimed at teaching students how two save money for the future. Elna McKay and Heidi Dim-mic- k made a presentation to 388 students in classes at Fairview Elementary and North Sanpete Middle School about learning how to save money. Some of the concepts taught were how to budget, prioritize wants verses needs, why it is important to save for emergencies, and how interest makes Carisa Roberson money grow. The campaign slogan for this in the year was "Millionaire Carisa Roberson to sing at NSHS MT. PLEASAN- T- North Sanpete High School humanities department is sponsoring a vocal recital in the choir room at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 5. The public is encouraged to attend. Mezzo-sopran- o, Carisa Hilton present her senior Roberson recital for the Utah State Music Education Department, with her will Jason Fredrickson, son of Rick and Connie Fredrickson, Moroni, recently received his Eagle Scout award. He helped design and build the announcers stand at the Moroni City Mudd Bogg Arena. Troop 551 of the Moroni First LDS Ward helped Jason with the project. Their league record was 10 and 1 and they still had to play Delta this week.
