He was- born August 27, 1917, in Fountain Green to John E. and Ellen (Nellie) Mary Ostler Aagard. He lived in Fountain Green most of his life. He married Mary Fox Aagard on July 7, 1937, their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. John was a successful third generation sheepman for over 60 years, he also raised turkeys. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them in the mountains and outdoors. He is survived by his wife, children: Joyce Westenskow (Bruce) of Moroni, Jerry (and family) Aagard of Hamilton, Montana, John Kent Aagard of Salt Lake City, Janece (Lee) of Carrolln ton, Texas, Nellie (Jim) of Nephi, Vmn3 Ada J. She was bom July 27, 1919 in Moroni, UT to Vemiel and Bertha Sorensen Jensen. She W. Francis married Carlson on December 5, 1938 in Nephi. Utah. Ada was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family in the outdoors. She loved the company of her children, especially the time she was able to spend with her grand and greatgrandchildren.
