Jerry Ferguson, Utah Farm Bureau President-FarVice Safety will discuss the importance and need of farmers having a written farm safety plan, and how to develop the plan. The written farm safety plan should be part of a farmers farm management plan, according to a Farm Bureau press release. Even farmers without employees may benefit. Taking time to identify hazardous materials and situations around the farm, for example, can help farmers assess and correct potential dangers to family members.
