Lawrence was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Wales, to Hyrum and Mary Ann Jordan. He married Lois Jensen Thomas on Nov. 16, 1939, in Wales. They enjoyed 57 wonderful years together. Lawrence had a great love for animals, especially horses, and was most happy being out doors taking care of his livestock. He. introduced the first Quarter Horse in this area back in the early 40s. He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service for a number of years. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, L. Reed Brent Thomas, Thomas both of Mt. Pleasant; Dixie Nielson. Taylorsville; Mrs. David San-pitc- LDS Temple. Elsie was a member of the LDS Church and served in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and work meeting cook and did genealogy work. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is survived by her son. Ralph D. Jensen: daughter, Mrs. Max Christensen; (Loyola) sister, Della Sorensen: eight grandchildren, 16 and 1 die Logan LDS Temple.
