Besides the Manti and Spring City buildings, eight other tabernacles and seven meetinghouses are included in the exhibit. John Telford Photographer created the 50 images in the exhibit as part of an ongoing effort to produce a visual record of Utahs diverse architectural and natural beauty. Telford, who has exhibited his work worldwide, is an assistant professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Brigham Young University. He comments on the outstanding craftsmanship that is visible in the construction and architectural details of these important buildings and is reflected in Telfords sensitive images. Davis said, "Talented Latter-da- y Saints who were architects, builders and artisans from Europe and the eastern United States designed and constructed the buildings from local materials.
