Beck INDIANOLA--Funera- l services for Ruth Olsen Beck, 87, will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Sixth LDS Ward who died Feb. 5, 1996. Viewing at Ursenbach Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. She was born March 29, 1908, Mt. Pleasant, to George M. and Cecilia H. Olsen. She married Earl H. Beck, April 10, 1931, in Mt. Pleasant. She loved to cook, taking care of others, loved the outdoors, especially Indianola, and loved animals. She continued to run the farm for 18 years after her husbands death. She enjoyed sharing gardening, vegetables, crocheting afghans. She was member of the Fairview Fourth LDS Ward. She was born May 31, 1934, in Oak Creek to Winston and Thelma Larson Mower. She married A. Dean Allred. Jan. 25. 1952 in Elk. NV. She for worked W.H. Sperry Rand, Bintz Co. and Smith Management companies. She enjoyed the varied desert areas of the Mountainwest and Native American art and culture. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include a son, Mark Dean, Riverton; two grandchildren; two two brothers, Jim Mower, Winnemucca, NV and Tom Mower, Brigham City. Funeral Services were held Feb. 3 for Roldo Lamar (Walt) Ollerton, 85, who died on Jan. 31, 1996. He was born Aug. 29, 1910, in Nephi, to Seth Hood and Lucy Estella Morris Ollerton. He married Olive Jensen Bills on Aug. 24, 1948, in Ely, NV. She died on Nov. 2, 1987. His younger years were spent in Juab and Sanpete counties where his father was a forest ranger in the Manti-LasNational Forest. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Battery D Sanpete County Post having served in the Army during WWII with the 357th Fighter Group. He also served in the Air Force Reserve. Jeniel Howell ALPINE Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 5, in the Alpine Seventh LDS Ward Chapel for Jeniel Peterson Howell, 70, who died at her home in Alpine, on Feb. 1, 1996, from cancer. She was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Fairview, the first child of Jewel M. and Gladys Draper Peterson. She was educated in Fairview and Mt. Pleasant, then went on to a receive bachelors degree from the University of Utah and later a masters from BYU. She married Edmund Berthell Howell on March 18, 1948 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church and served Ruth Beck L. Beck, Orem; Mrs Gerald (Earlene) Hansen, Mt. Pleasant; Ruth Ann Beck Mower Nazareth. Orlando, FL., 16 grandchildren and 32 Preceded in death by her husband; sons, Earl Duane Beck and Eldon Von Beck, brothers. Grant Olsen and Morris Olsen, and one sister, Cleona Olsen. in Burial Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Ursenbach Funeral Home. After retiring from Mountain Fuel Supply he and his wife moved to Fairview. He spent the last six years in Ogden. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by three children, Ralph J. Bills, Murray; Mrs. Naaman McCashland, (Clista) David Mrs. Ogden; (Gwen) Carroll, Grand Junction, CO; 13 grandchildren; 23 three sisters, Glenn Mrs. (Mary) Harris, Springville; Mrs. Frank (Lucy) Long, Provo; Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Husberg, Salt Lake City; and one brother, Don Ollerton, Leeds. Preceding him in death were his wife; one son; three brothers, Seth, Elmo and Carlyle Ollerton; and two sisters. Vivian Wilson and Reva Weinkie. Burial was in Larken Sunset Gardens. She is survived by her husband, children, Mrs. Vincent, Barry (Jan) Edmund, Mrs. Derek (Cheri) Maude. Stanley; 15 grandchildren, and one sister, Norma Whitlock, all of Alpine.
