Peterson announce the marriage of their daughter, Amy Lee, to Daniel R. Christensen, son of Bruce and Laura Christensen, of Moroni, on Monday, June 12, 1995. A reception will be held in their honor that evening at Seven Oaks, 6775 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, from 7 to 9 p.m. An open house will also be held Saturday, June 17, at the Moroni LDS Stake Center, 96 North Center, from 6 to 8 p.m. The bridegroom graduated from Snow College in 1993, and recently from Southern Utah University, with a degree in accounting. The bride will continue her studies at Southern Utah University. The couple will make their home in Cedar City. Miss Sanpete finishes fire safety project MANTI-- - Former Miss Sanpete 1994, Molly Petersen, chose fire safety as her community service project. The two areas she targeted were home escape plans and smoke detectors. Her goal was for every heme in the county to have smoke detectors and a fire escape plan in place. Accompanied by pageant director, Susan Hatch, she visited every first through fifth grade classroom (over 2,100 children) in the county, giving a presentation entitled, "Play It Safe; Plan An Escape!" Miss Petersen urges everyone to purchase smoke detectors and practice a plan of escape in case of fire. Callie Hill weds Darrell Oldroyd in June ceremony MT. PLEASAN- T- Jade Woolsey announces the marriage of her mother, Calli J. Hill, to Darrell R. Oldroyd on Saturday, June 10, 1995. An open house will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Vern and Renae Fisher, 338 S. State, Mt. Pleasant. In case of inclement weather, the open house will be at the Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens Center. Calli is the daughter of Beth Hill, of Mt. Pleasant, and Bruce Hill, of Casper, WY. She is a graduate of Eisenhower High School, Lawton, Former Miss Sanpete County 1994, Molly Petersen, chose "Play It Safe; Plan An Escape!" as her service project. Dyreng felt the response was excellent. She credits Christensen for his help and considers the valley lucky to have him. She firmly believes in the program and notes that it is worthwhile and low cost. She hopes that groups like the Gunnison City Youth Council, Eagle Scout candidates, individuals or other service organizations will take over the project to make sure of its continued success.
