She was also the winning pitcher in the opening game of the double header with the Cowgirls at Grantsville Friday afternoon. The Lady Templars scored one run in the first inning to take the lead and three more in the fourth on Lyons double. But for both teams it was mainly single base hits,, with the Cowgirls tagging along by a run or two in a game that was always close. The second game had a different color. They caught up the hard way: two runs in die fourth, two more in the fifth, one run in the sixth, while keeping the Cowgirls away from home plate. Stacey Cox pounded out the double that brought in the winning runs to preserve the Lady Templars undefeated record in Region 12. Lyons was the winning pitcher.
