With the addition of endowment funds, Wasatch Academy can ensure affordable tuition and the ability to award ample scholarship money to deserving students. Wasatch 2000 is the result of thorough planning process involving Wasatch Academy board members, administration, faculty and professional consultants. The capital campaign is a comprehensive plan to improve the campus and increase endowment. Hungerford Hall ing. Fortunately for Wasatch Academy, the generous Craighead Family donated the money needed to replace Hungerford Hall. In November of 1935, the dedica tion for both the Craighead School Building and the Craig-- 1 head Industrial Hall took place. Now, 60 years later and after much history, Wasatch Academy celebrates the dedication of the new MathScience Building. Over the past eight years, Wasatch Academy has increased Jeppesen performs solo violin recital April 30 EPHRAIM-- - Kelly Jeppesen, a Snow College violinist, will perform a solo recital on Sunday, April 30, at 8 p.m in the col- leges music building. Jeppesen has studied violin for 17 years with instructors such as Snow College music professor Dennis Hansen and Utah Sym- In 1891, Wasatch Academy opened its first school building, Hungerford Hall. For years this building provided a formal academic setting for its students. Tragically, on April 4, 1933, Hungerford Hall burned to the Concertmaster phony Matson. Ralph Cedar Hollow Restaurant 2087 An advanced violinist, Jeppesen has recently received a music scholarship from the Uni- versity of Washington, in Seattle, where he will continue studies with former concertmaster of the Royal Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony. Mildred Seely honored by peers MT. PLEASAN- T- Mildred Seely was recently honored at the citys Pioneer Day festivities. Though in her nineties, she is still employed at her son, Terrel Seelys, grocery store. Her friends say she stands out not only in her petite appearance but her charming smile and friendly manner. Not only does she live alone and take care of her yard, she is still active in the LDS Church, DUP and family activities. Her children are: the late Cherron Seely, former Mt. Pleasant Mayor; Terrel, Miriam, Marlane, Norma, Marilyn and Sue Ann. She lost a son, Robert, at the age of six.
