She was born May 8, 1911, in Manti, to Ferdinand James and Sigrid Elise Marie Rasmussen Christensen. She married Hugh Lyndon Jensen, 25, 1934, in April Manti; the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Nov. 25, 1977. She was a member of the LDS Church where she was a Primary teacher and served 58 years as a visiting teacher. She enjoyed entertaining and food for preparing friends and family. She loved to paint and do handwork and crafts; she provided many quilts and afghans for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Mrs. Leonard (Glenna) Everitt, Spring Mrs. Wendell City; Hannah Jensen (Shirley) Pitcher, West Valley City; and Roger of Bluffdale; 13 grandchildren; 29 one sisters: Wanza Childs and Verla both of Salt Edlund, Lake City. She was in death by preceded siblings: Elthora Pace, Georgia Ipson, Vaughn, Aided and Donald Christensen; one Isaac Everitt.
