Allred announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emilee, to Dean Moody, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Moody of Murray, on Saturday, June 4, 1994, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will follow that evening from 7 to 9:30 oclock in the Spring City LDS Chapel. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She also graduated from Von Curtis Academy of Hair Design in Provo. The bridegroom graduated from Murray High School and LDS Seminary. He served an LDS mission to. New Jersey. He is currently employed by I. C. Security Printers in Salt Lake City. Theh couple will live in Midvale. Dean Moody and Emilee Allred Kimberlee Kjar weds Ryan S. Graper in Manti LDS Temple When they became aware of the fire that destroyed the Moroni Elementary School library, the World Book Encyclopedia Company donated five sets of encyclopedias and presented them during a special assembly on May 19. A reception will be held in their honor on Saturday, July 2, in the Moroni LDS Stake Center., The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and will graduate Magna Cum Laude from Snow College on June 11. The bridegroom is a graduate of Green Mountain High School, and attended the University of Colorado and Ricks College. He served an LDS mission to Tacoma, WA. He plans to pursue a career in business. PLEASAN- T- Alma Serrano has beaten the odds by earning enough credits to enable her, at the end of her junior year, to graduate with the North High School Class of 1994' on May 26. This quiet and shy young woman of Mexican background has done what few Americans has become proficient can he in English as a second language and has attained early graduation. Alma came to the United States just three years ago and ;eamed high school units of credit through the North Sanpete School District summer Migrant School and through the national PASS program. She decided at the beginning ; ;of this school year that she wanted to graduate early, but didnt ;feel she could complete all requirements in time; however, her two years of summer school made the difference. ; According to her English ; teacher, Virginia Mower, "Alma She pro; is a very good student. from the gressed significantly 'first of the school year to the ; end. The Sanpete Valley Healthcare Foundation exists to help Sanpete Valley Hospital with the purchase of lifesaving medical equipment. Last year the Foundation assisted with the purchase of laparoscopic surgery equipment by contributing $5,000 towards its purchase. Currently the Foundation is saving money towards the purchase of mammography equipment, a defibrillator and perhaps more surgical equipment. Q. |
