The couple will make their home in West Valley where the bride will continue her education ' at Utah Valley State College. The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and builds cabinets at Karmen Kitchens in Salt Lake City. Bridal attendants are Mary Hatch, Paula Brewer, Eva Thompson, and Amie and Heidi Merrill. Maid of Honor will be Cindy Wilcox and Best Man duties will be divided between Renny Ison and Jake Merrill. Congregate lunches will be Tuesdays through Fridays. People planning to have lunch should call before 9 a.m. on the day they plan to attend. Jason Merrill and Mona Christensen Bill Peterson honored for community service financial support, organizes the camps and lines up the volunteers who cook the meals and supervise the activities. According to a Snow College press release, Bill has been a great example to disabled young people by proving that a blind man can be successful and and by helping show children with disabilities that they can be successful in their own lives. !. by Dean ODriscoll Bill Peterson received the Snow College Presidential Service Citation during halftime 'of the Snow College basketball game against Dixie. Peterson is responsible for founding and running the "Palisade Pals" program held each summer since 1982 at Palisade State Park south of Manti. Since that time Bill has steadily expanded the. event to include hundreds of children in activities that take place all over the state. The first day camp in 1982 drew 15 participants. The third year there were 157. Donaldson, Moroni, was named Manti Regional Singles Leader by Manti Stake President Greg Maylett at the- singles New years Eve Party. She will replace Elaine N. Reid who has accepted a call to the England London South LDS Mission. Ida has served as Moroni Stake Singles leader, Moroni Stake Librarian and Moroni Meetinghouse Librarian. She is the Sanpete County correspondent to the Provo Daily Herald. For over 20 years she has volunteered with the American Cancer Society and is a lifetime board member of that organization. She served eight! years on the state board of Am erican Mothers, Inc., two of them as president. She has served on the Gover- nors Board of Volunteers and received the Governors Silver Bowl Award in 1987. She served eight years on the Moroni City Council. She has served as Stake and Ward Relief Society president, Stake Primary president, and Branch and Ward Young Womens President. She married Harvey Allen Lund of Fountain Green in 1950. They were the parents of three children: David Allen, Elaine and Kathleen. Harvey died in 1958. She later married John Newton Donaldson, Spring City, who died in 1990. She has nine . For the first time in 57 years, Duane Anderson spent the holiday season at home with his family. Christmas Eve was spent with brother John and his wife Arline in Provo. Christmas day was spent getting acquainted with all his relatives. He had held a plastic fish, but he didnt know what a real fish was. That really got to me, and it still does." For the past 11 years the facilities at Palisade Park have been enjoyed by young people with disabilities from all over the state of Utah. Bill solicits the L'lyr-- In 1987 he was singled out for' recognition for his efforts tov; promote recreational activities for5 children with disabilities and received the Governors Golden" Key Award.
