Show Mav 12. 1993 - Pyramid Recreation Guide - Page 17 Scandinavian Festival - a smorgasbord of events Old World food, crafts, and activities will be featured during the annual Scandinavian Festival May 28 and 29 in Ephraim. On Friday, May 28, activities include the Little Denmark Supper and presentation of festival royalty at 6 p.m. in the Snow College Cafeteria. A rodeo will be held at 8. p.m., at the Rodeo Grounds, North of Ephraim. The big day is Saturday, May 29, and it begins with a Scandinavian Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Food Area at Snow College. A Fun Run will also begin at 8 a.m. West of the Noyes Building, at Snow College. At 9 a.m., the Bjorn Borg Tennis Tournament begins at the College Courts; walking tours start at the Co-oand log cabin displays may be viewed at Pioneer Square Park. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Old World crafts, craft booths, and food booths, will be open on the Snow College Campus. An Open House at Central p; id id If your car sounds or runs funny dont ignore it. Utah Art Center is set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; chamber music p will be offered at Ephraim at 9:30 a.m.; and at 10 a.m. 'there will be three major events: the dedication of the Ephraim Co-o- p Building; one of three performances of "Fire on the Mountain", at Snow College, and Co-o- "Fire on the Mountain" will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on the Ephraim Co-o- p Lawn. Childrens 1 games will be featured from to 3 p.m. at Snow College. An art auction will be held at 2 p.m. at the Art Center. The final performance of "Fire on the Mountain" will be a quilt show, in the Music Building, at Snow College. Scandinavian Entertainment will be offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Snow College and Pioneer Park. Historical Tours of pioneer houses will be .held at Pioneer Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A barbecue turkey lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Senior Center, Pioneer Park with entertainment of live countrywestem music. A parade will begin at 11:30 a.m., on Main Street & College Ave. A bread baking contest and sale and a needlework display will both be held from noon to 3 p.m., at the Ephraim Co-oAt 12:30 p.m. a cowboy poet will be featured in the Art CenThe Scandinavian Festival, May 28 and 29 in Ephraim, features ter.
