The plates are available to anyone making an initial investment of $25 to the Snow College academic scholarship fund. Another annual $25 donation allows the plates to be kept indefinitely. TTi ere are no additional charges by the state. Official state license plates are offered to colleges throughout Utah to help build the resources available to each institution. All of the money goes into the scholarship fund for qualified Snow College students. The donation is tax deductible, and it is not necessary to wait until current plates expire to get the new plates. "We have already handed out more than 60 sets of plates," said Snow College Alumni Director, Paula Brewer. Those who have already, made a donation this year or who would like to obtain a set of plates should call Ms. Brewer, ext. 606. American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) during a special convocation held at Snow College Thursday. The convocation was part of the second annual World Trade Conference, which was held during Applied Technology Education Week at the college. Consul General Hector I. Mena; a career diplomat for Mexico, entered his countrys foreign service in 1960. He has served as Consul in several cities and countries over the past three decades. In 1989 he was appointed Consul of Mexico in Salt Lake City, with jurisdiction over the states of Idaho, Montana, Utah, and 10 counties in Wyoming.
