This year the contest will be sponsored by Lotts of Photos and The Pyramid. In addition to the cash prizes offered in other years a camera, book, camera bag and filters will be among the prizes and awards presented to the winners of the 1 990 contest. Contest rules have been changed this year, and entries will be judged in five classes with awards given in each class. Classes will include: scenic, people, animals, still life and black and white. A "Best of Show" winner will be chosen from all of the categories. All photos submitted must be 5 x 7 or larger. They can be mounted or framed, but this is not necessary. Only prints are acceptable. Do not send slides. The deadline is June 27. Photos can be delivered to Lotts of Photo, 48 West Main, or to The Pyramid, 49 West Main, Mt. Pleasant. All photos will be exhibited at the annual Hub City Days Cultural Arts Show at City Hall during the July 4 festivities. Photos can be picked up after the exhibit ends.
