The team qualified lor the slate meet alter taking first in the zone tournament hcldul Snow College. Teams competing in the zone tournament were from regions 10, 12 and 13. At the state meet the team defeated Rowland Hall, but lost to a strong Grantsv tile team. Grantsville went on to defeat Park City and take the championship. Also representing North Sanpete at the state meet was the doubles team of Ryan Ellcfscn and Robert Seely who finished second in the zone tournament held al Snow College. Ryan and Robot t played a tense match with Rowland Hall and lost. T he Rowland fall players aie all members ol the Salt Lake Tennis Club. In the qualifying zone tournament Ryan and Robot t beat a good team from Green River to put them in the finals and then lost a close three-se- t malch in the finals to Manti.
