First place went to Jason Johnson, sculpture, and Tood Cook, ceramics. Rich Olsen, ceramics, and Tim Russen, sculpture, placed second. Jared Speakman Sanpete-Jua- b took second place in watercolors and third, in pain- ting. Laura Ilafen placed third in watercolors, and Greg Christensen received an honorable mention in painting. The paintings will be on display at the high school tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. Janice Kapp Perry to speak MORONI Janice Kapp Perry and family will provide the musical program for the annual Moroni Stake Mothers and Daughters Banquet Sat., May 16, at 7 p.m. at the stake center. Theme of the banquet will be Love is the Answer, according to Lavina Sorensen, stake young women president, who also has tickets for sale. MORONI- - Ruth Westenskow, daughter of Bruce and Joyce Westenskow will marry Allen Shepherd, son of Bud and Elaine Shepherd, son of Bud and Elaine Shepherd of Lake Shore, on Thursday, May 21, in the Manti LDS Temple. An open house will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of the bridegrooms parents, 6400 South 3512 West, Lake Shore.. The bride graduated from North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She also graduated from LDS Institute in Ephraim and from Snow College where she She is presently atmajored in secretarial-clerica- l. tending Utah Valley Community College majoring in business management and accounting. She is employed as accounting secretarial clerk for Snyder Computer Center, Provo. The bridegroom graduated from Spanish Fork High School and LDS Seminary. He was active in Acapella, Madrigals, musicals and sports. He served an LDS mission in the Perth, Australia Mission. He is currently of Shepherds Poultry in Lake Shore. The couple will live in Spanish Fork. Everyone is asked to bring their own dishes for the turkey dinner.
