Moroni youth council takes oath of office MORON- I- The Youth City Council members were given their oath of office by City Recorder Laura Christensen Other youth council members include Felicia Watson, Todd Cook, and Ross Livingston. Lisa King and Jana Lee Faux were appointed to be over youth activities. Melanie Aagard will be budget director and Michelle Larsen will be youth recorder. Cindy Larson, daughter of Paul and Kathy Larson, will work with Moroni Mayor Mack Morley and mayor-elec- t Danny Dyches and will learn to recognize and solve some of the problems within the city. Felicia Watson, daughter of David and Kathy Watson, will work in the at council meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Moroni City Hall. Ten Moroni youth filed for the Youth Council. They voted at the regular election which was held on Tuesday November 5. The highest vote getter was to be named mayor. However, the high vote was a tie between Cindy Larson and Curt Lund. There was also a tie between Melanie Aagard and Kathy Livingston for a spot on the council. These ties were broken with a draw with Cindy Larson becoming Youth Mayor and Kathy Livingston winning a place on the youth council. Sill. Conrad Noble, son of Joyce Noble of Manti, has completed the basic field ar- tillery cannoneer course under the unit training (OSUT) program at Fort Sill. During the course, students were taught the duties of a howitzer or gun section crewman. They also received instruction in communications, maintenance and the handling of ammunition and explosives. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the 16th day of December, 1985, at 10:00 o'clock a.m., the Sanpete County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing, at the County Courthouse in Manti, Utah. This will be to consider certain emergency budget increases in the 1985 budget, and to consider the adoption of the 1986 departmental and general operational County Budget. The proposed 1986 Budget will include the proposed use of the General Revenue Sharing Funds received for the purpose of necessary equipment, and a proposed cost of living salary increase for all county employees, to become effective January 1, 1986 with the approval at the Budget Hearing, without an additional hearing being held. All information and data relative to the 1985 budget increases and a tentative compilation of all revenues and anticipated expenditures relative to the 1986 budget will be on file at the office of the County Auditor at least three days prior to said hearing. The said 1986 Budget may have to be increased during the year to comply with State Legislature mandates and laws. The 1986 Budget is estimated to be about 8 percent higher than the 1985 Budget, and it is also estimated that the county mill levy for 1986 will be the same as 1985. year. MT.
