The couple will be married in the Manti LDS TemnlP on Friday, Dec. 6. Valorie Marie Shepherd celebrated her first birthday on Oct. 11. Her parents are Bob and Lois Shepherd of Nephi. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Newel Shepherd and Mr. and Mrs. Rod Rowe all of Mt. Pleasant. Her is Monte Nordstron of Fairview and her is Aleja Lujan of Odgen. The birde is a graduate of Manti High School and LDS Seminary. While in high school she was a cheerleader for four years. She served as executive vice president of the LDSSA Council at Snow College. She has been employed at Elliots Pharmacy in Manti for the past five years. The prospective bridegroom is a 1978 graduate of North Sanpete High School where he was active in sports and music. He is currently in the dairy business working with his father. The newlyweds will make their home in Mt. Pleasant Karen Nuffer great-grandfath- Qui Iters organize Donald R. Seely MORONI The Sanpete County Guild was recently organized with Ramona Christensen of Moroni elected president, LaVee Madsen of Manti as secretary, and LaNore Shelley of Mt. Pleasant as advertising chairman. The group will meet on the second Friday of each month at Nedras Fabric Shop in Ephraim at 2 p.m. They will feature demonstrations on quilting, show and tell, visiting quilters, and teach quilting skills. Once a year the group plans to have a quilt show. Everyone is invited to join the group whose next meeting will be held on Friday, Dec. 13. Quilters Family dinner to honor Ray Coxes on golden wedding MT. PLEASANT Ray E. and Bernice Everts Cox will commemorate their golden wedding anniversary on Friday, November 29. The couple were married in Richfield on Nov. 29, 1935. The Coxes will celebrate this occasion with their son, Paul, and his family in American Fork over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. Plans are to have a family dinner at a Salt Lake restaurant on Friday, hosted by Paul. Ray and Bernice have one son, Paul and his wife Jalee. They have five grandchildren, Dayne, Penny, Artie, Susan and Misty. No movies at library MT. PLEASANT No movies will be shown at the Carnegie Library this the Saturday during Thanksgiving Day holidays. On the following Saturday, Dec. 7 the movies to be shown will be Little Toot and Little Dog Lost. All children between the ages of 4 and 12 pre invited to watch the movies that are shown by the Mt. Pleasant Library Board. Children from Moroni, Fairview, and Spring City are also welcome. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cox Frank, Ina Morgan to be honored ' The children of Frank 0. and Ina Seely NEPHI Morgan will honor them in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Saturday, Nobember 30, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Nephi 7th Ward, 222 South First East. Friends and relatives are invited. They request no gifts. Frank and Ina were married October 6, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant and have lived in Nephi all their married life. Frank was bom Dec. 16, 1904 in Nephi, a son of Charles William and Laura Warr Morgan. He attended schools in Nephi, graduated from Nephi High, attended Utah State University and the University of Utah. He has been a farmer and stockman in Nephi. Ina was bom July 31, 1913 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of J. Leo and Lucille R. Seely. She graduated from North Sanpete High School and attended Brigham Young University. She has worked in various LDS Church organizations. She worked in the office at Juab County Hospital for 27 years. They are the parents of four sons: Charles William, Nephi; Dr. Stephens. Farmington; Jon, San Francisco, Calif, and Michael, La Jolla, Calif.; two daughters inlaw, Analee R. Morgan and Helen T. Morgan. They have six grandchildren. Lalcos meet MT. PLEASAN- T- Dase Betty was hostess for the LalCos Clubs annual trip to see the North Sanpete High School musical. Club members met at a cafe prior to the attending musical for refreshments.
