Edna Coates was presented with a beautiful bouquet from her granddaughters. A flower is a joy to our sight as she is a joy to our hearts.: Mrs. Coates is the mother of seven children, three daughters and four sons. She has 22 grandchildren and She is twelve the widow of William D. Coates. Kaye Marquardson Bradley is the daughter of Max and Utahna Marquardson. She was born March 19. 1940, in Richfield. She has two sisters and one brother. She has always been close to her family. Mrs. Bradley is the mother of nine children. She is a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. Three outstanding women were honored, one from each of the Moroni Wards. Venice Anderson from the 1st Ward, Edna Coates from the Second Ward, and Kaye Bradley from the Third Ward were honored and given tributes from the Young Women organization in their Wards. Venice Anderson was bom in Manti on March 24, 1895, to Nathaniel Henry and Elvira Clark Felt. She married Rodney L. Anderson on April 2, 1914. They were the parents of seveh children: Maxine Franklin, St. Petersburg, Flor.; Udell, Lai Vitas, Nev.; Voneal Aagard, Salt Lake City; Wanda Holman. It is agreed that family and church came first in her life. The work necessary to keep each functioning was done with energy and vigor. Her children remember her good cooking. They remember that hardly a day passed that friends or relatives were not seated at her bounteous table and, during the thirties, there was usuallya hobo sitting on the back porch enjoying a "square meal. PLEASANT Paul and Joleen Christensen are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Wendy Sue, to Tracy Millett. The bridegroom is the son of Kenneth and Margaret Millett of Orem. The couple will be married on Friday, May 18 at a ceremony performed in the Mt. Pleasant First and Fourth Ward Church. A reception hosted by parents of the bride will honor them in the ward cultural hall at 7:30 p.m. Friends and relatives of the couple are cordially invited to attend. Miss Christensen is a 1980 graduate of North Sanpete High School and graduated in 1983 from Evans Beauty College in Provo. Mr. Millett is employed at Spanish Fork.
