Show Moroni doubles MORONI Water and sewer hook-ufees were more than doubled by the city council at its April 27 meeting, which also included discussion of city dump and dog problems, and placing a limit on all city spending. The City Council acted to raise the water and sewer hook-ufees after being told Moroni had one of the lowest rates in the state. Water hook-ufees were raised from $350 to $800 for a 'U inch water line. For a 1 inch line, the hook-ufee was raised to $900. Sewer hook-ufees will be raised from $350 to $750. The raises became effective May 1. It was reported to the Council that persons are illegally entering the city dump from adjoining property and dumping dead animals and other unauthorized garbage. Ways to solve this problem were discussed. Dog problems still plague the city with dogs running loose and disturbing the peace during the night. Residents are reminded that Moroni has a p p fees hook-u-p Sunset dog ordinance which states that dogs are not to run loose between sunset and sun-uDogs running loose will be impounded and owners will be Some of these assignments were in the departments of O.
