PLEASANT- - if! The Senior Citizens will hold their semi-monthl- y meeting Wednesday May at 7 p.m. in the Senior Citizen Center. Donaldson are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elaine Lund, to Steven R. Dransfield, son of F. Miss Lund is also the daughter of the late Dr. Harvey Allen Lund. The couple have chosen May 21 to be married in the Salt Lake Temple. Parents of the bride will honor the newlyweds at a reception that same evening in the McCune Mansion, 200 North Main Street, Salt Lake City, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A wedding breakfast will be hosted by the parents of the groom at Memory Grove. Miss Lund is a graudate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She graduated from Brigham Young University with an Associate Degree in Secretarial Technology, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University in Social Work. She has also completed a real estate course and has a real estate license. She was named an Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1979. Presently she is employed as a legal secretary for a law firm in Salt Lake City. FOUNTAIN GREEN-- Mr. and Mrs. Jay L. Olsen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Connie, to Wayne Jarrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl S. Jarrett of Nephi. The young couple have chosen as their special day, Saturday, May 16. Miss Olsen and Mr. Jarrett will be married by Bishop William Howard of the Nephi 6th Ward. The marriage will take place in the Ftn. Green Ward Cultural Hall. That evening a reception given in honor of the bride and groom will be hosted by parents of the bride, and will follow the marriage ceremony. A wedding breakfast, given by parents of the will be held at the Jarrett home in bridegroom-to-be- , Nephi for the Olsen and Jarrett families. Mr. Jarrett is a 1979 graduate of Juab High school where he was active in all sports, particularly football and wrestling, and was a member of the schools Rodeo Club. He was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He is working for the Jarrett Land and Livestock in Nephi. Miss Olsen is a 1980 graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She was active in Sports and was a member of the Future Homemakers of America. She served three years On the Year Book Staff as advertizing manager. In 1980 she was an attendant to the Lamb Day Queen. Miss Olsen is presently working in Nephi. After a honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Nephi. I Mr. Dransfield graduated from Pocatello High School. He graduated from Brigham Young University vith a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dramatic Arts. He served an LDS mission in the Cumorah Mission, New York State. He is currently employed as a motion picture film editor at Taft International Pictures in Salt Lake City. Little Bowen Bret Woodard is the first grandchild of Mrs. Bret (Korby l,e Atkinson) Woodard of Kamas and is the first grandchild o Mrs. Karon (Terry Ann Hansen) Atkinson also Kamas. He is the first greatgrandchild of Mrs. Elvin A. (Lois) Hansen of Blackfnol. Ida. and the first great-gregrandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Terrance W. (Chrystal) Aiken.
