Show SEPTEMBER 23, 1986 v society Winners named Couple wed in Idaho Sheryl Jepsen and Scott D. Evans exchanged nuptial promises in Whitney, Ida. on Sept. 18. The Juniper Inn in Hyde Park, Logan, was the location for a wedding brunch given by the bridegrooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don R. Evans of Layton. The newlyweds were honored that evening at a reception in the Completes course Whitney, Idaho First Ward Chapel. Hosts were the brides parents Mr. and Mrs. Lester C. Jepsen of Preston, Ida. Dix, N.J. During the training, students received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid and Army history and traditions. The occasion will mark her 88th 5-- 8 rites Hartley-Da- y The Salt Lake Temple was the setting of the ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 28 which united in marriage the former Jill Hartley and Kyle James Day. Jill is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Hartley of Taylorsville and Mrs. Susan Barker Hartley of Kaysville. Kyle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zane Day of Kaysville. Prenuptial parties were given by Patricia and Sarah Barber, Linda and Laurie Nance, Patti Maw, Vanessa Day, Jan Barker and Krystal Day. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast held in the Salt Lake Holiday Inn. They later greeted guests at a garden reception in their home town of KaysStanding next to the bride as matron of honor was Kim Naegle with bridesmaids Lori Moon, Vanessa Day and Laurie Nance. Rebecca and Rose Anna Barker stood by as flower girls. Best man duties were carried out by Brandon Vavricka. Grooms-- . men and usher duties were performed by Trent B. Mrs. Adams was bom Oct. 1, 1898 in West Point, a daughter of Fred and Eliza Webster Flint. She married Hazen F. Adams March 6, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Adams died Oct. 27, 1983. Mrs. Adams is a member of the Layton 35th Ward. She served 42 years as a visiting teacher and also a Relief Society secretary. She was also a Sunday School and Primary teacher. Mrs. Adams worked as a supervisor for the Davis County School lunch program. Mrs. Adams has two sons and three daughters, Lynn H. Adams and Kenneth H. Adams, of East Layton; Nora Burton, Fruit Heights; Rhea Sedgwick, Folsom, Calif, and Faye Parker of Washington Terrace. She has 22 grandchiland dren, 62 one great-gregrandchild. ville. Mrs. Roueche married Hollis Webb Roueche of Kaysville on June 2, 1923 in the Salt Lake Temple. She and her husband delivered National Club Week will be celebrated Oct. with special activities in Davis County. There will be the Family Fun Night with a potluck dinner in Layton Park Bowery on Monday, Oct. 6. All members and their families are invited to this special event.
