Mitchells community involvement includes working in various Indian PTA organizations, Student Placement program and various other church and civic, positions. I feel that we are at a very crucial turning point in public education. I am very determined to serve and represent Northern Davis County. I feel I would be a great asset to the board. My first concern is seeing that all children receive a quality education. I feel that with input from other concerned parents, citizens, and educators, I can come up with fair and equal solutions that can be implanted into the school system. We need to increase our effectiveness in public education. I believe we can come up with a good Career Ladder program where our quality teachers are recognized and can receive a higher pay scale.
