From there they drove to Death Valley and Delano, down the California coast, stopping in San Simeon at Hearst Castle, then to Pomona, Palm Springs, Yuma, Ariz. and down to Ajo, Ariz., a mining town turned ghost town. After staying in Ajo a couple of days they went to Rocky Point, a beach area in Old Mexico and returning home via the route east of the Colorado River. Heidi Heath, daughter of Henry BRITTNEY NICOLE HUGHES and Joy Heath is in Israel on the study abroad program. Heidi is -studying Arabic, Hebrew, old and new Testament, current events and culture of the country. Lynn Anderson, along with five couples from BDuntiful, just returned from a Caribbean cruise. They flew to Miami, Fla. where they boarded the M.S. Caribbe I Ship, and sailed al to Haiti. Because of heavy rioting they had tJ board ship, then sailed to Puerto Rico and St. Thomas in the Viigin Islands, from thereon to the Dominican Republic and then back to Florida where they stayed three days and isited Walt Disney World. Several area couples spent two weeks near the Baja peninsula in Las Gaviotos, Calif, where they went deep sea fishing and diving and traveled into Old Mexico. The couples w ho enjoyed the fun in the sun were George and Bonnie Heywood, Charles and Beth Diedge, Ben and Faye Whitesides. Wendell and Christine Maxfield. Addie Marsden suffered a heart attack recently and has been recovering in St. George, where shes staying with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Stewart in The Park at Green Valley. Heritage Center schedules events Feb. 10. The Heritage Senior Citizens Center will have a combination monthly luncheon and Valentine's Day party to be followed by a Valentine's Day dance on Friday, Feb. 14. The entertainment for the a.m. featuring day will begin at the Old Timers, lunch will be Layton seniors planning dance The Layton Senior Citizens will hold a dance Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Layton Senior Citizens Center, 410 Wasatch Drive, Layton. 1 years and older are welcome.
