Boundaries for the 39th Ward are north of U.S. 193 and east of Hill Air Force Base except the East Ridge project. The Hill Gate Terrace Mobile Home Park was divided between the 28th Ward and the 6lh Ward with the 28th taking church members west of Darlington Street and the 6th Ward having members east of Darlington Street within their ward boundaries. THE NEW bishopric for the 39th Ward includes Richard J. Thomas, bishop; Gregory R. O'Toole, first Missionaries Gamble on Your Future counselor; Stuart A. Smith, second counselor; Randall M. Hensley, executive secretary; Jeffrey Jon Campos, ward deik; S. Ivan Rice, membership clerk and Roy William Mel erson, finance deik. 1 he division of the ward necessitated changes in the 28th Ward bishopric. Retained as bishop was S. Clair Bankhead. DILLE Tharon K. and Anna M. Dille of Kaysville returned Jan. 22 from serving a one year mission in the Awhalia Brisbane mission serving in Papua, New Guinea. En route home they visited several days in New Zealand and in Sidney, Au- stralia. THARON IS retired from Hill Air Force Base and Anna was employed in the foods program of the Davis County Schools for 6 years. They worked two years as ordinance workers in the Ogden Temple and served an 18 month mission in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana mission prior to their calling. MARILYN FISHER ELDER TREMEA Marilyn Fisher, 752 N. 2875 E., Layton, has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints in the Elder Michael O. Tremea, son of Ronald and Cathleen Tremea, has been called to serve the London England Mission. California, Oakland, English-speakin- g mission. She is the eldest daughter of Robert B. and Marjorie C. Fisher, formerly of Syracuse. MARILYN graduated from Layton High with a 4.0 average her senior year and was on the honor roll at B YU her freshman year. She spent 10 months in Los Angeles, Calif, where she worked at Hughes Air Force. She attended Weber State College where she was nominated for Sweetheart of Lam-b- a Delta Sigma. She is currently studying at B YU in the field of dance. She has earned the special award for Young Women in the church; graduated from seminary; attended institute classes both at Weber and the Y. PRIOR TO his Feb. 13 departure for the MTC, Elder Tremea will speak at the Fruit Heights 2nd Ward, 901 S. Mountain Road Chapel, on Feb. 9 at 2:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary at an open house at his home from 6 p.m., 650 S. Grand Oaks, Fruit Heights. He attended fall quarter at Weber State College. Elder Russell P. Murdock has re- turned home after serving two years in the Pusan, Korea mission. His extensive knowledge of neurology encompasses diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Dr. Banta's special training in neurology has prepared him to deal effectively with conditions such as: headaches: hack pain; weakness: unusual sensations such as dizziness, numbness, or tingling feelings; seizures and epilepsy ; multiple sclerosis: muscular dystrophy; Down's syndrome; memory problems including Alzheimer's disease: Parkinson's disease; strokes; learning disabilities; and delaw in normal childhood development. Dr. Banta trained in medical school at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in Lexington. Kentucky. He served a residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Wisconsin, before moving to Utah where he completed a fellowship in neurology at the I'niversitv of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Banta is Director of Electroen- cephalography Laboratory at Humana Davis North. He and his wife, Judy, have two daughters, Sara and Rebecca.
