Sept. 7. MR. FLINDERS was born in Logan on Sept. 9, 1905 to Clarence Henry and Effie Manning Minders. He grew up in Logan moving to Ogden at about 12 years of age where he lived for approximately three years. The next few years he spent w oi king for friends and relatives in Hooper on their farms. On Oct. 7. 1935 he married Zella Mitchell of Clinton in the Salt Lake Temple. MR. AND MRS. SMITH PAGE To celebrate Levier Gardner. Towers and Shawn Robert Bertagnole were married Sept. 6 at East Canyon Resort by Kaysville. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Mansion House in Ogden and a reception at the Layton East Stake Center. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Ret. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Edwin E. Towers of 584 S. Cherry Lane, Fruit Heights. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay R. Bertagnole of Salt Lake City. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Ambassador Club and a garden reception near the brides home. THE BRIDE wore a ruffled gown with high ruffled collar, long puffed sleeves, plain front, ruffled layered train. Her flowers were blue and lavender silk on double rings. Marton of honor was Marlene Bushman, a sister. Bridesmaids were Donette Golightly, Julie Chris Anderson and Judy Kapp. The matron of honor wore a blue gown with bridesmaids in lavender short dresses with long sleeves. Flowers were silk on hoop worn over the arm. Nuz-ma- MOTHERS wore lavender crepe dresses trimmed with lace accented with blue and lavender corsages. Cliff Oram performed best man duties. Layne A. Golightly was an usher. PRENUPTIAL parties were given by Marlene Bushman, Julie Nuzman and LuElla Green; Maxine and Eileen Kapp; Judy Burton and Jeane Anderson. The bride has attended Layton High and Weber State College. She is employed at Candle Graphics as a typesetter and graphic artist. Paul attended Davis High and Weber State College and is presently band director at Davis High. Bishop Roger 0. e, THE BRIDE wore an ivory colored gown, bodice made of antique ivory, Belgian lace, skirt ivory chiffon with a cathedral style train. Her bouquet was of bettina roses, white stephanotis, ivy, bachelor buttons and purple statice. Maid of honor was Charlotte with Mrs. Michel Towers and Mrs. Mark A. Towers as bridesmaids. They wore ivory and apricot colored short dresses of georgette and lace fabrics. Flowers were Gerber daisies, batchelor buttons, purple statice, ivy, presentation style (brides is also presentation style). THEY ARE active in the LDS Church where they have held various positions. He is currently ward membership clerk and she is secretary of the Relief Society. The Pages have four children, lace. SAM DAVIS performed best man duties with Michael E. Towers and Mark A. MIlN5 KARL AND Inez were married KARL WAS born in Park Valley, Utah in 1901 and Inez was born in Levan, Utah in 1904. Karl operated a small farm in Syracuse and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 19 years of service. Inez worked at Clearfield High School cafeteria. Both served two LDS missions and have served in many ward and stake positions.
