Show DAVIS REFLEX JOURNAL MAY 8, 1985 Iva Leona Page Elmer H. Reader Iva Leona Stoker Page, 88, of 768 N. 3200 W., Layton, died Thursday, April 25, 1985 at her home of causes incident to age. SHE WAS born June 8, 1896, in Bountiful, a daughter of David and Emma Stahle Stoker. She married 1. Ralph Page Aug. 21, 1918, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug. 25, 1977. SHE HAD been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Layton 2nd Ward where she had served as a teacher in the Primary and Sun- of Sherman, Tex.; two stepsons and three stepdaughters, Edward Sanders, Craig, Colo.; James Sanders, Clinton; Shirley Downing, Sherman, Tex.; Barbara Lovelett, Salt Lake City; Beverly Rider, Silt, Colo.; and 28 grandchildren. W., Layton, died Sunday, April 28, 1985 at a Colorado hospital of a heart attack. 1200 HE WAS born Oct. 3, 1922 in Lewiston, Utah, a son of Francis R. and Roselia Haslam Reader. He married Arlene Strasburg Nov. 15, 1952 in Clearfield. HE WAS reared and educated in the Blackfoot, Idaho and the Cache Valley area. He lived the past 32 years in the Clearfield-Layto- n area. He was a member of the LDS Church and had been a former member of the Layton Eagles. Agnes W. Phillips Surviving are his widow of Layton; one son and two daughters, Glenn Reader, Roy; Rosemary Anderson and Pat Jansen, both Mrs. Agnes Wyllie Phillips, 55, of 1178 E. 150 S., Clearfield, died Saturday, April 27, 1985 at a Salt Lake City hospital of pneumonia. He married Annabell Bodily Feb. 1, 1928 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John Cano Perez, 83, 1690 E. S., Clearfield, died Sunday, 1100 April 28, 1985 in a Clearfield nursing home of causes incident to age. HE HAD lived in the Layton-Clearfiel- d area most of his life. He worked in Nevada for two years as a ranch hand for Ellison Ranches. He had been a farmer and worked for GSA, retiring in 1971. He had also worked for the Ogden Arsenal and the U.S. Naval Supply Depot. Surviving are his widow of Clearfield, six sons and two daughters, Orson R. Layton, Gail B. Layton, Kent B. Layton, Craig B. Layton, Mrs. Emma Bellucci, all of Clearfield; Delbert R. Layton and Clark E. Layton, Layton; Mrs. Otis V. (Carla) Moody, Choctaw, Okla.; 24 grandchildren and 25 (Pete) Page; prelude music, Marianne Call, Carmen Dibble and Patricia Sargent; That Wonderful Mother of Mine" by Cleve Dibble and Ann Call; invocation, Douglas Flint; remarks. SHE WAS preceded in death by one daughter and one son. Funeral services were Tuesday at the Layton 2nd Ward Chapel with Bishop Noel Flint officiating. FAMILY prayer was by Dee HE WAS born Sept. 14, 1901 in Bevea, Spain, a son of John and Anna Marie Cano Perez. He married Elma May Ivie June 16, 1936 in Park City. The marriage las later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. They were later di- vorced. Dedication of the grave was by Orson Ray Layton with interment in the Syracuse Cemetery. PALLBEARERS were Orson Ray, Delbert Robert, Gaily Bodily, Clark Edwin, Kent Bodily and Craig Bodily Layton; Otis Vernon Moody and Andriano Bellucci Jr. HE WAS a coal miner for 40 years in Carbon County. He came to the United States when he was 13 years old and lived in California and in Utah for over 70 years. HE BECAME a United States citizen in 1940. He was a member of the Clearfield 2nd LDS Ward. He served a stake mission in Price. HE WAS a member of the Clearfield Senior Citizens. He was a member of the Coal Miners Union in Carbon County and was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Price.
