Show DAVIS REFLEX JOURNAL MAY 8, 1985 society Francis-Fulk- To Be Wed s Colleen Francis became the bride of Charles J. Fulks in a Salt Lake LDS Temple ceremony on April 18. Elder Homer S. Ellsworth officiated. THE COUPLE was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Lion House with parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. James K. Fulks Jr. hosting the affair. The couple was honored with a wedding reception at the Farming-to- n City building hosted by Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Francis, parents of the bride. THE BRIDE has been attending Weber State College and will continue her studies at Brigham Young University. She and her husband graduated from Davis High. The groom will graduate from BYU this summer with a degree in business management. He filled an LDS JULIA KOETITZ To Wed June 1st Netherlands-Amsterda- m mission. Lt. Col. (Ret) and Mrs. Fred A. Koetitz of Kaysville, announce the engagement of their daughter Julia Lorraine, to Kerry Allan Sjelin, son of Paul and Juanita Sjelin, Rockland, Idaho. THE FUTURE bride graduated from Davis High in 1980 and attended Weber State, graduating from Bethany Bible College in Santa Cruz, Calif, with a B.A. degree in music education. She was Miss Davis County in 1980 and involved in many musical groups. Bible College graduating in 1986 with a B.S. in pastoral ministries. 1 CHOIR CELEBRATES LDS Singles Marking the anniversary of the Choir are Davis County members: Alena Welker, left, of Sunset; Lela Stewart, Kaysville; Alden Kirkham of Bountiful and Lois Brown, Clearfield. Tri-Vall- 50 voice choir has sung before 59,500 people in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Davis County residents who are choir members are Alene Welker, Organized to sing just once, the Choir recently noted their 200th performance. You are beautiful people. dents of Davis, Weber and Salt Lake Counties. Honored Mrs. Mary K. Timothy will be honored at a family dinner and party for her 80th birthday anniversary May 9. MRS. TIMOTHY was born in 1905 in Moore, Ida., the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Strong King. She has three brothers and seven sisters. As a young girl her family traveled to the Uintah Basin settling in Cedarview, Utah. IN NOVEMBER of 1924 she married Weston Timothy. She and her husband moved to Kaysville in 1941 where she has since resided. Mr. Timothy died in 1973. They raised five children. Laddie, LaMar, Joyce, Elizabeth and Luella Jo. She has 30 grandchildren and 37 HER LIFE has been spent in service to all and to her church. She served in the presidency of the Relief Society twice, MIA president and served two LDS Missions and has accomplished much temple and genealogy work. Mrs. Timothy published a book The Growing Years telling of early family life in the Uintah Basin. SHE IS seldom idle, her hours are spent doing temple work and genealogy work as well as quilting, crocheting, lawn and garden work. Kerry attended Rockland High and graduated from American Falls High School, attended Idaho State and is now attending Bethany Kaj'SV illc Klein.
