I am an Anesthetist, and I live in Meadow. My partner and I serve five rural hospitals in this area. We have a be;ter opportunity than most to evaluate the physicians, the nursing care and the availability of good equipment and facilities. There are many fine physicians in the area, and Fillmore has two of the best. There is none better than Fillmore when it comes to good quality nursing care. Fillmore Hospital has good equipment as you'll find in any of the rural hospitals. Fillmore Hospital physical facility, however, needs to be replaced very soon. Despite the physical facility our residents can count their blessings. ux TO THE There are many who still harbor feelings generated years ago. We either support our hospital or lose it. We can't expect it to be forever if we will not support it. I hope we'll all evaluate our individual self interests and become a community person, willing to help it grow and prosper.
