Show February MP contest ends; , Inri'rm Mrs. LaFaye Crisp, owner and manager of LaFayes Confectionary at Spring City, suffered an extensive loss to her store Wednesday evening between 10:30 and 11 oclock. The loss was by fire of unknown origin and estimates of the fire has not yet been determined, but it is extensive. Kenneth and Peggy Strate were passing the store and saw the lights blinking in the store. Kenneth rushed for the fire department and Peggy went to LaFayes home to tejl her of the fire. Help soon came and the fire soon put out. The interior and goods in the store were damaged by the smoke and intense heat. At the time of the fire the smoke poured from the building and was partly put out by the chemicals in the fire department. Loss and damage was heavy, but has not yet been estimated.
