Services Saturday Pleasant . ri Obituaries i i i Sarah Wells Sarah Roseanna Cox Wells, 78, of 1421 23rd, Ogden, died Friday, Jan. 27, 1978 at the Weber Memorial Hospital in Roy. Mrs. Wells was born Aug. 14, 1899, in Fairview, Utah; a daughter of Austin and Roseanna Johnson Cox Sr. She was married to Lewis Renberg July 20, 1920 and they were later divorced. They had one Margaret Beck child, Mrs. Orval (Bessie) Keel, of Tucson Ariz. Margaret Mrs. Wells married Beck Funeral services were held Friday, January 27 in the Mt. Pleasant Ward Second for Margaret Thompson Beck, with Bishop J. conBruce Harless ducting. Prayers were by Bp. Glen Hardy and Max Blain with the family prayer by Bp. Delmar Beck. Speakers were: A. Reeve Norman, H. Kay Lay and Bishop Harless. Prelude and postlude music were played by Veone and Brown, musical Charles Albert Wells on Sept. 25, 1926 in Ogden. He died in 1950. She had lived in Ogden since 1926 and was a member of the Ogden 35th LDS Ward. Surviving are one son, three daughters: David J. Wells, Mrs. Kenneth (Julie) Saunders, Mrs. Eiven (Rebecca) Evenson, all of Ogden; Mrs. Richard (Edith) Moules, Collingswood, N.J.; 18 grandchildren and grea- 12 two tgrandchildren; brothers and two sisters, W. Heber Cox, Springville, Utah; Andrew F. Cox, Fairview, numbers in- Utah; Mrs. Mary Larson, cluded a vocal duet by Mrs. William (Nora) JoAnn Allred and Wade Lewis, both of Ogden. Mrs. Seely died on January 24, 1978 at the Juab County Hospital in Nephi following a short illness. She was born on March 8, 1890 in Mt. Pleasant to M.G. and Annie Knudsen Rolph and was reared by Mr. and grandparents, Mrs. John Knudsen. She married J. Leo Seely on October 6, 1910 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Seely died in 1971. Since that time, Mrs. Seely has acted as president and manager of the J. Leo Seely Corp. a family-owne- d ranching business. She was active in various LDS Church Geneva B. Sorensen auxiliaries and was a member of the Acme Literary Club.
