Pleasant Pyramid Page Six Scout honors presented February 26, 1976 Lori and Craig Stephenson, both of Salt Lake City, were Public Notice recently awarded honors from their scouting troops. Lori and Craig are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin J. Craig recently received his Eagle Award from the Boy Scouts and Lori received the first class award which is the highest award given by the organization and is equal to the Eagle Award given by the Boy Scouts. He is in the Eighth grade at Norwest Junior High and has already received his Bronze of City Water 1976 Revenue Bond in the Maximum Principal amount of not to ex- ceed (the "Water $80,000, Revenue Bond). The General Obligation Bond is to be issued and sold for the purpose of paying all or part of the cost of modifications improvements, and additions to the Citys existing electric light and power system (the "Electric Project) The "Water Revnue Bond is to be issued and sold for the purpose of paying all or part of the cost of acquiring and improvements, modifications and additions to the Citys existing water system (the "Water Project"). The General Obligation Bonds shall be in the denomination of $1,000 each, shall be numbered 1 to 50, both inclusive, shall be dated January 1, 1976, shall be shall be issued with coupons attached, shall mature serially in numercial order on January 1 of each of the years during the maturity period and shall bear interest payable on January 1, 1977 and semiannually thereafter on June 1 and January 1 of each year, as follows: Bond Nos. (Both Inclusive) (January 1,000 1) 1977-Amou- nt Interest Rate 7.50; ; 2.000-7.0- 2.000-7.0- 0; ; 3.000-7.0- 0; ; 4.000-7.2- 5 ; 5.000-7.5- 0. General Obligation Bonds numbered 1 through 14, in- clusive, maturing prior to January 1, 1987, are not callable for redemption prior to maturity. General Obligation Bonds numbered 15 through 50, inclusive maturing January 1, 1987 through 1997 shall be callable for redemption prior to maturity at the option of the in inverse Municipality numercial order on January 1, 1986, and on any interest payment date thereafter at the principal amount thereof plus accrued interest to the date fixed for redemption, and a premium of three percent (3 percent) of the principal amount of each bond so redeemed. The Water Revenue Bond shall be a single, registered, bond, without negotiable coupons, which may be coverted by the registered owner thereof to serial bonds, with or without coupons, in bearer or registered form at the registered owners expense. The Water Revenue Bond will be purchased by the United States of America, Farmers Home Administration (the Government) at a purchase price equal to the par value of the Bond without discount or premium. No deposit has been made by the purchaser. Under the terms of the purchase agreement, the Government will lend the City only such funds, not to exceed a Maximum Principal Amount of $80,000, as the City actually requires for the Water Project and the amount so loaned by the Government will constitute the Total Principal Sum of the Water Revenue. The Water Revenue Bond will be dated as of its date of delivery, will bear interest on such Total Principal Sum from such date until paid at the rate of five percent (5 percent) per ann and, unless prepaid by the City, will be paid within forty (40) years from its date as follows: Until all advances on the Total Principal Sum shall have been received by the City, and until the first to occur of three (3) years from the date of the Water Revenue Bond or the A. completion of all im- provements for which the Water Revenue Bond is issued, (the "Construction Period) accrued interest only will be paid by the City on the Water Revenue Bond, which interest will be paid on January 1 during the Construction Period and on the first day of the first month following the Construction period.
