Show of Mr. and Mrs. were Mr. and FT. GREEN JESSIE OLDROYD Sacrament meeting Sunday evening, October 20 was conducted by James Allred. The program was a missionary for Elder Merrill farewell Rasmussen, son of Pres, and Mrs. Victor Rasmussen. Elder Rasmussen has been called to serve in the Australia-Adelaid- e mission and will leave October 26 to enter the mission home. Invocation was .offered by Kenneth Hansen, a friend. Speakers were: The father, Pres. Rasmussen, and Mitchell of Christensen, brother-in-laMerrill. Musical number, piano solo played by Ann Aagard, a cousin. Speaker, Carl Rasmussen, an uncle. The dining table carried the ward members attended the ward supper, a delicious one, Monday evening. It was under the direction of the Bishopric. After the dinner, attractive cakes made by some of the ladies of the ward, were auctioned off by Allan Bailey. A colored film of the B.Y.U. Folk Dancers was shown. The dancers performed dances of various countries and was most enjoyable. Most of 'Touch the Sky movie scheduled Deer hunters swarmed hills and mountains over weekend. Lots of hunters few deer! The wives Touch the Sky, a color feature showing at the Kinema Theatre, captures the beauty and excitement of Africa, perhaps better than any other film. Ron Shanin, aerospace engineer turned animal collector and film producer, conceived the idea, wrote, directed and was responsible for the principal photgraphy. A lovely day for all the Collards! Carolyn Garrett visited with her parents, Scott and Euleda Cook, and attended church here on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deeble three sons, Salt Lake, visited Friday with Grand- and of Moroni; Theora Anderson, Hilda Christiansen, Dorothy Oldroyd, and Etta Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Norman (Alyce) Henderson and their three children of Kanab, spent the weekend here at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Wilcock. Mrs. Clair (Donna) Ivory had pleasant and happy week visiting with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Sheryl) Draper in Kaysville. On Monday Mrs. Ivory and Sheryl visited with Donnas sister, a brother and their families: Hazel Park and Robert Guyman in Salt Lake. Mrs. Ivory attended Relief Society with Sheryl on Tuesday, work meeting day, and Sheryls turn to help serve. Here Mrs. Ivory met the daughter of the late Leray Robertson. Her husband is the Bishop of Sheryls Ward, and also principal of the elementary school. Wednesday, Donna and Sheryl visited school Parents Day, where they met the principal. Small world! We meet friends and former residents in unexpected places!
