The YWMIA presidency were in charge. Weekend visitors with Vurleen Simons were Mr. Mrs Thprald Rigby and Salt Lake City, Mr. and Charles Nielsen and son, and Mrs. Randy Olsen children of Provo. Mrs. and son, Mrs. Mr. and Edwin Simons is presently at the home of his sons in Salt Lake City recovering from a recent surgery. The Annual Relief Society party commerating the founding of the Relief Society will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. March 16. A short play and program will be presented. All members are urged to attend. The Althea club members were the guests of Mr. LaVee Draper at her home Friday afternoon. Mrs. Draper served delicious refreshments to Lorna Jensen, June Sondrup, Ella Carlson, Olga Black, Lois Black, Mable Beck, Jessie Schofield, Eva Grace Allred guests Irene Aiken Aiken. Prizes at rook went to Lorna Lois Black. and special and Crystal progressive Jensen and Mrs. Thora Nielsen of Salt Lake City was a recent visitor with Mrs. June Sondrup and other friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Black from Sandy spent Saturday visiting their mother Mrs. Olga Black. Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Rosalie) Westlund were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schofield. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Nelson of 8 Midvale. Mrs. Loren Rees of Wales visited Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. Francis Black. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Reid and baby from Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Archie Aiken and Mr. and Mrs. Osmer Dugway and their parents Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Black attended the funeral services held in Salt Lake City Saturday for Mrs. Sarah Robinson Christensen at the Deseret Mortuary. Beck. Mrs. Lois Black went to Salt Lake City to visit her son Milton K. Nelson from St. Louis, Missouri, who was there on business. Mr. Nelson is presently making his home at St. Louis where he is employed by Danville Knitting Mills of Danville, Virginia. She spent ten days with him returning home on Wednesday. Richard Allred and wife Laurel and Mrs. Patsy McGerty and baby Jimmie of Roy visited Tuesday to Thursday of last week with Mrs. Iris Irving. Richard is serving in the U. S. Army and left Sunday for overseas duty. His wife Laurel is living at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Irving returned home with the visitors. Friday evening at Salt Lake City a shower was given in honor of Debra Larsen at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Ferris Norman. In attendance at the shower from Spring City were Mrs. Iris Irving, Mrs. Sylvia Nielsen, Mrs. Nedra Jensen and Mrs. Wood of the Joshua tree is so light and tough it it used for artificial limbs.
