Davis graduated from North Sanpete High School and Snow College. He attended the Utah State University before induction into the Army in April, 1966. He received his training at Ft. Riley, Kansas, and arrived in Vietnam December 31, 1966. His commanding officer, Captain Kerr, presented him with the sergeant stripes when he arrived at Rach Kien, south of Saigon. Pleasant, will speak to a general assembly of Snow College on March 30 at 11 a.m. He will speak on the general nature of Special Forces units, training and history of Special Forces. Major Beasley has spent 31 months in Asia and finished a tour of duty in Vietnam in September of 1964. He has been a member of the Green Berets since 1962. His home state is Texas. Captain William Lee, executive officer of the 3rd Special Forces C detachment at Mt. Pleasant, spoke to the Mt. Pleasant Lion Club on March 22 at their meeting in the Community Center. He spoke on the organization of Special Forces, training requirements of such units and the exercise presently being conducted in the Manti-LaSNational Forest. Captain Lee has been with the Army Special Forces for five years. His home state is California. Representatives of the 3rd Special Forces and 19th Special Forces National (Utah Guard) gave a first aid demonstration to Boy Scouts from North Sanpete Stake at the Mt.
