Susan by STELLA DAY has been spent as a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, as mv mother, Hannah Hanson Huntsman, was the first. President of the Millard County Company and I was the first Chorister. The company was or9. ganized, September 1921, nearly 60 years ago. One of the objectives of the D.U.P. is to write histones of pioneer activities and biographies. We are very lucky in Millard County to have been able to print three printings of Milestones of Millard, which is a history of the beginnings of each town in Millard County. We have just recently published "Builders of Early Millard, which contains the biographies of all of the pioneers and some how came up to 1875. as that was the time the railroad came within 35 miles of Fillmore, the county seat of Millard County. Most of the biographies which were given to us had to be shortened as we could not afford to print longer However, biographies. we have the copies of the Most of mv life ' Marge Barton pings from the Progress telling of some of the activities of these pioneers. which we were unable to print in our books.
