Ranchers who wish participate in 1980 financing for range development work on Oak the Creek Mountain Range Evaluation Area should apply at the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Office, 88 North Mairt, Utah before Fillmore, May 30, 1980. All ranchers who own land or hold federal grazing permits within the evaluation area are elegible to receive up e to 80 payments for installing selected range improvement practices on their private land. The evaluation area includes 316,500 acres of federal, state and private land encompassed by the following boundary at Holden, beginning to the Sevier North on River, down the Sevier River to Delta Reservoir, south to U. S. Highway 50, then southeast on Highway 50 to Holden. The Oak Creek Mountain Range Evaluation Area project is a joint effort by federal and state agencies, to inventory, develop, and evaluate rangeland in order to determine its optimum production level, associated costs and effects of range improvements on the local ranch operation, and related economy rangeland resources.
