Though shes worked in the department 21 years, Ms. Melville says "I enjoy it so much I hate to think about cutting down or leaving. I like the medical part of the job and I love getting to know all the people who work here. About 200 people have worked in the department since it started, and I guess I know about 90 percent of them. Born and raised in Utahs Millard County, once Ms. Melville got a taste of traveling she was hooked. With a vacation in Alaska last summer, she completed her goal of .visiting all 50 states. She and her husband, Don, also have' been to 11 countries, and hope soon to visit the far east, where Rachel has many friends in the field of anesthesiology. "But thats just a drop in the bucket, Ms. Melville says of her travels. There isnt simply enough time to do everything Id like to do. Her other interests include visiting her three children and 13 grandchildren, singing in the Allegro Chorus, Knitting and travel attending films.
