Slack Rodeo at 9.00 a m , Program at 10 30, Lunch (sold by Elders) at 12 00, Sports at 1.00 and Rodeo at 3 00. KANOSH 24th CELEBRATION to join Everyone is invited together for the fun filled activities planned at Adelaide Park up Kanosh Canyon on Monday, July 24th beginning with a Program at 10 a m followed by the delicious barbequed beet dinner, cooked to perfection, with all the trimmings. Lately I haven't had this sections a lot to prattle abevut but this week there arc several things. First and foremost was the annual trek to the "Shakespearean Festival" in Cedar City. Jane, Deb, Mother Wanda and 1 I know I say this every year but it is true. "It just gets better every year. As usual we attended opening night co m pi etc with the Bard's Banquet. It is an I ngltsh meal served buffet style and eaten on the patio. It is a delightful setting and a great time for visiting wuhthc other attenders; some are pexiplc one sees only ontc a year at the festival. Governor and Mrs. Mathesesn were and circulated and in attendance visited We also visited with Fred Adams, producer and director of the festival and former Delta resident, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Church, also former Delta residents (Sterling is nowon staff at SL'SC) and other friends from various parts of the state. Thompson began his career with Continental in 1964 as a Central Office Repairman in Tremonlon. In 1968 he was transferred to Delta where he held several supervisory positions before becoming the District Manager. A large portion of Neal's seven years in Delta was the U.S. Government AUTOYON telephone system.
