By the lime this article is in print we will know who has been elected to the Presidency of these United States, and whether it be C 'raid For I or Jimmy Carter, we will all accept the results of the election, even though we did not vote for the man who is elected. We at least will not have to listen to the dozens of promises from the candidates, which will never be kept since no candidate is capable of doing anything by himself, even though he is the President. Laws originate in has the privilege of signing the Congress, and the bills into law or vetoing them. If the Congress can get a two thirds majority of Congress to pass the bill over the u to of the President , the bill becomes a law without the of the President. Thus the balance of power remains with the voters since it is they who elect the members of Congress. Now that the election is over, we can forget to which party wg belong, and settle down to just being good citizens, and cmuenirate on helping the successful candidates build a move understanding America. . Politics should not divide families any more than differences of opinions on any other subject such as education.
