Show 77th Annual Call to Convention JOHNSON MPS. BLAINE CLYDE ByJosephine Zimmerman Art and artistry in living will be highlighted April 30 and May1 and 2 whenthe annualstate convention of the Utah Federation of Women's Clubs is heldin Springville, centered around ille Art Gallery Mrs. Wende! nger, Springville, state president, will preside at the convention sessions, with Mrs Blaine P. Clyde and Mrs. Roy D Johnson, Springville, and Mrs. Faye Mattinson, Payson, in che-ge otf arrangements. Featured speakerat the convention will be Mrs. Fred Gast, Portland, Ore., General Federation recording secretary. “Art of Federation’’ is the theme of the convention, with ali events tying to the theme. Activities will begin Thursday with registration from 2 to 5 p.m. and tours of the MRS. FAYE MATTINSON April National Art Show now in progress at the art gallery. The cultural Arts club, under the direction of Mrs. George Wright and Mrs. Veri Whiting, will be in charge of these opening activities. Registration will also be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday under the direction of Mrs. Harrison Conover of the Home Culture club Convention kits containing many interesting items have been made up py the Parri Passu club, under the direction of Mrs. Roy Johnson, and will be given to all whoregister.
