One of the big social events at Provo High School 'this coming week is. the Preference Ball sponsored bythe Girls’ Organization. The big.event is set for Friday, Nov. 18 beginning at 9 p.m. in the Gym. Girls will be asking the boys this time, buying the tickets and picking up the check for the parties aftér. Theme for the danceis ‘‘Heaven Sent.” During the assembly also tied in with the dance the Preferred Man will be announced, All girls in the school voted for him last week, as the ‘best’ of all. Cheering ‘their team onto victory during football season have been the cheerleaders and students of+ Payson High School. Their team was victorious in the Region Five race and wil] enter the semi-finals soon. The ‘students’ at Springville High School were busy last week with their Sadie Hawkins dance at the. school. Sponsoring the event were members of the Dramatics Department. Every one came in costumes for the gay event. |
