PERRY WILL ILL HAVE WATER WORKS on tuesday the taxpayers of perry voted on the proposition to bond in the sum of 0 ten thousand dollars tor for the purpose of installing a water works system to supply the residents with ith water tor for culinary purposes the of the election was thirty one votes for or and seven against carrying the proposition by a large majority it is the purpose ot of the town to construct a reservoir cast of perry on the hillside somewhere in which to store the water to be piped down to the homes ot of the people an agreement wa was s entered into between the town and the perry land livestock company to purchase a certain amount of water with which to feed the reservoir but one member of the company objected and got an injunction against his company preventing the transfer of tile the water the case will be heard in the district court on sept 2 of this year but should the town lose out there are arc a number of 0 other springs that can be tapped so that an abundant water supply is assured it ii the intention to sell the donds immediately and start operations in constructing the system which wll will be first class in every way and which will be a great boon to the people when it is completed
