Clues gathered from charred home at 1221 Ninth Street indicate the victim and a sibling had been experimenting with matches in the basement just before 4 p.m., said Bruce Champion, deputy chief for the Ogden Fire Department. The flames soon engulfed a couch and continued to spread rapidly. “One of the kids did not makeit out,” Champion said. The boy's name was not released Sheriff's Officer Kills Armed Man During Arrest of Robbery Suspect Tuesday, Champion said. His parents and siblings managed to escape.
