Show PEACH FUNGUS MAY NOT BE SERIOUS state horticultural inspector J edward taylor has been making a thorough investigation of the peach spot or fungus which has appeared in some ot of the orchards in this section in connection with the local inspector sir mr carl isaacson sir mr taylor Is I 1 reported as giving it as his opinion that unless as a a protracted wet spell comes along the fungus will not be of any serious consequence this season as most of the orchard lats have given their trees a thorough spraying the furious appears mostly in old orchards the young trees not helne being affected as yet this Is welcome news for BrIg bara and vicinity can hardly afford a repetition of the experience of two years year ago more especially Is this the case since our crop seems to be about the only normal crop in the entire peach growing districts of the west ind booth 7 |
