Show TWO LEMONS we dont wish to blame manager koford because his bookings are made by someone over whom he has no lio control but certainly he and the dear public ot of brigham city were handed two lemons during the past week one of which was so rank as to make it almost impossible to retain the essence latter after it got down we refer to the climax and more particularly to ta the girl in the kimono the first named Is a very fine production it was also well presented but was far from being worth halt half that amount would have been ample for there were only four persons in the cast they did well ot of course but the only lady was a disappointment we have ama right here in brigham that can out sing her two to one and her acting was just ordinary while her dressing was very ordinary the real gem of the production was the pietro of mr roy merrill Alir rill who s a real artist in the part able zin singing ging master bastir was nas also well eane done but the other two could be very much improved upon the girl in the kimono was tile the good M one the company disbanded a few lays days before in salt lake came to ogden resurrected again and came to brigham with what was left it was a corker the singing even turie tuneful ful the costumes looked like they had been in use since shortly atter after the flood the actors know their lines they giggled made themselves ridiculous and the audience disgusted when the final curtain went down the sigh of relief that went up expressed the thanksgiving of the audience that there was not one more act byet the real cause ot of thanksgiving is that only a fair sized house witnessed the production |
