A new organ some years ago the fourteenth ward purchased fur for use in the assembly rooms booms au an estey organ the instrument st ment then being considered the finest of the k kind ind in the territory the organ having deteriorated some what in tone and appearance through almost constant employment for i series of years for choir and other purposes the members of the ward recently determined to procure a new and more po powerful organ cited fl fed with the latest improvements in such instruments in pursuance of this resolution the old organ was raffled yesterday evening by members of the tae ward john jhn H tay lor a 13 year old son of mr thlik 1 Taylor drew the lucky him to the old organ which he be subsequently sold to mr walter A price tor 20 mr price then turned the instrument ment over to the ward with the no an der ferstanding standing that its value should apply on the pur purchase ehase of a new and im iii proved instrument
