Any aspect of safety can be drawn up in a poster, according to Scott Mason VICA president. The community school or home safety are some suggestions he gave for children to consider, in submitting entries for the contest. Posters should be mitted on white poster board 18" by 24", using any medium to get the message ' of safety across. The deadline for submitting entries is Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. to the Sun Chronicle office, 5388 S. 1900 W., Roy. Entries should be submitted in the above manner, Mason said, along with the entry blank included below, filled out and attached. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded for the best three in both the poster and slogan area. Winning entries will then be published in the Sun with Chronicle along pictures of the winners. with every 4 yards purchased will soon start lessons in dancing. As a sixth grader at Valley View School, Brenda was awarded a special certificate form the Roy Kiwanis Club for outstanding leadership, Brenda Jorgasen, who will turn 14 in March, is being honored Stahle as Publications Route Carrier of the Week.
